We Will Miss Mr. Cayton!

Last week we brainstormed a list of things we want to remember about Mr. Cayton!  The children each wrote a letter to Mr. Cayton and we had invited him to our room to eat ice-cream and give him our letters!  The children ask if they could give him high fives and hugs and Mr. Cayton eagerly agreed to both!  Some of the things the children thought of; lots of high fives and hugs, finding our Gingerbread Boy, serving us "lunch" on our first half day of kindergarten, eating ice-cream with us, showing us how he ties shoes, giving us Super kids and he thinks we are super kids, helps us make good choices if we have to go to his office (their words, not mine) and he helps us get healthy with Live Healthy Iowa!   As you can tell Mr. Cayton was an active principal that believes in interacting with the students and his presence made a difference!  THANK YOU Mr. Cayton for caring!
